“Octagon Jitters My Butt” — Justin Gaethje’s Post-Fight Interview — “Where’s My Equal!”

On Friday, Justin Gaethje had one of the most impressive UFC debuts in the promotion’s history.

Gaethje made his UFC debut in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale. He fought lightweight contender Michael Johnson in a fight that may be the 2017 fight of the year.

Gaethje and Johnson fought in a back-and-forth war for two rounds. Both fighters had moments where it seemed they were close to finishing their opponent. However, in round two, Gaethje managed to finish the fight.

After being rocked by Johnson earlier in the round, Gaethje retaliated with a devastating combination of his own that led to the referee stepping in and awarding him the TKO victory.

“Octagon jitters my butt,” Gaethje said in his post-fight interview.

In the video below, you can watch Gaethje’s entire post-fight interview. Throughout the interview, Gaethje asked to fight his equal in the UFC. After his stunning performance, it will be hard for the UFC to find someone equal to their newest contender.
