Conor McGregor Says He’s Now A Free Agent, Following Mayweather Loss


UFC superstar Conor “Notorious” McGregor just performed in what may become the payday of his career. Facing off against Floyd Mayweather Jr., the fighter made his boxing debut inside the T-Mobil Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Now, “Notorious” has revealed that he is currently a free agent.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, McGregor explained “I have many options in MMA. I’m sure there’s options that will present themselves in the boxing game. Right now, I’m a free agent. My name is on the ring.”

The fighter continued, “I’ll see what’s next, but I’m open. I love a good fight, and tonight was a damn good fight. I can’t tell you exactly what’s next, but something will be next.”
