Dana White, Even To This Day, Favors Ronda’s Dominance Over Conor McGregor’s

It’s no secret UFC President Dana White is a big fan of former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.

Recently, White did an interview with heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson on the first episode of his podcast.

While talking to Tyson, White said Rousey was the closest fighter to being on the same level as Tyson during his prime.

“Our Tyson was Ronda, man,” White said. “Ronda had this aura of invincibility that we’ve never seen before. That’s why everyone was calling Ronda our Mike Tyson because she was the most dominant athlete on the planet. Conor (McGregor) is different. Conor is completely different than a Tyson – his verbal game, his picking the round.”

Today, UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is the biggest star in the UFC, but White appears to still favor Rousey when it comes to her dominance during her title reign.

McGregor is currently training to make his professional boxing debut. On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather in Las Vegas.
