Dana White Reveals Conor’s True Feelings About Losing To Floyd Mayweather

UFC megastar Conor McGregor made his boxing debut over the weekend. For his first fight, “Notorious” took an undefeated boxing legend. While McGregor fought hard with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for ten rounds, Mayweather ultimately earned a TKO victory over his opponent.

Following the defeat, Conor McGregor appeared to be in high spirits. Now, UFC President Dana White has offered some new information on how the UFC lightweight champion is taking the loss.

In an interview with FOX Sports’ Megan Olivi, as transcribed by unilad.co, Dana White said “He’s not [proud of his performance]. He’s very upset with himself. He feels that that fight was there for the taking. He thinks that the fight was stopped early. I was good with the stoppage. He’s not a professional boxer.

He’s stepped in there to fight arguably the greatest boxer of all time and he looked damn good doing it. I was okay with 10 rounds.”
