Floyd Sr. Is Ready And Willing To Sue Conor McGregor

For his epic cross-promotional bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Conor McGregor has been restricted by contract from utilizing any strike other than a punch in his boxing match with the striking legend. While it may seem like an obvious thing at first, Floyd Mayweather Sr. recently stressed the importance of the fact to him.

In an interview on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, as transcribed by Bloody Elbow, Mayweather Sr. explained what he believes will happen if Conor McGregor lands any illegal blows on Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather Sr. stated, “It’s gonna stop right there. And guess what? Then we’re gonna throw a big suit at him.”

He continued, “There’s enough people around here suing everybody for nothing, and this is something that you can be screwed for.”

Conor McGregor will face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
