It was recently revealed that former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos has been pulled from UFC 215 due to an anti-doping policy violation. Now, the former champion has provided a statement concerning the situation.
Junior dos Santos was initially set to face off against Francis Ngannou on Sept. 9, however the fighter has since failed a USADA enforced drug test. Now, Junior dos Santos’ response to being pulled from the event may be viewed in the video above.
Junior dos Santos is currently coming off of a loss to UFC champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 211.
