Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold got into a heated Twitter exchange with his upcoming opponent.
On Sept. 16, Rockhold will fight David Branch in the main event of a UFC Fight Night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
On Monday, Branch shared a video on social media of himself sending Rockhold a message.
“I’m going to beat you like you stole something,” Branch said to Rockhold.
Rockhold responded to the video by making fun of Branch’s appearance.
“Wtf are u doin in barber chair w/ a bib a beanie, hiding behind those cheap ass sunglasses. U will do nothing,” Rockhold said on Twitter.
Rockhold has not fought in over a year. In his last fight, in June 2016, Rockhold lost his UFC title after getting knocked out by current UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.
Branch is currently on an 11-fight win streak. In his last fight, he won a decision against Krzysztof Jotko back in May.
