Michael Bisping Latest UFC Fighter Wanting To Transition To Boxing

UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping is the latest UFC fighter to say he wants to compete in the sport of boxing.

Boxing champion Tony Bellew recently said he wanted to fight Bisping in a boxing match, the UFC champion responded by saying he was interested as well.

Bisping told Bellew on Twitter that he wanted to fight him in a boxing match after he defends his title against former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre.

Bisping has recently said he doesn’t plan on competing for much longer. It now appears Bisping may compete in the sport of boxing after he is done competing in the UFC.

On Twitter, Bisping says he plans to end his career with wins over St-Pierre and Interim UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker, and then he will fight Bellew in a boxing match.

Bisping will defend his title against St-Pierre at UFC 217, which will take place Nov. 4 in New York City.
