UFC superstar Conor “Notorious” McGregor is making his final preparations for his highly anticipated match up against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, it would appear that the UFC lightweight champion may have made some enemies along the way. Now, one of them has returned with a challenge.
Former boxing champion Paul Malignaggi departed from McGregor’s training camp after a series of sparring photos were leaked online. Now, Conor McGregor is short one sparring partner. However, it would appear that Malignaggi is now interested in facing the UFC fighter.
Over Twitter, Malignaggi stated “I don’t need the money, we could do winner takes the whole pot. Based on his footage he should be real confident with a deal like that lol.”
Rather Malignaggi and McGregor ever meet inside a ring again, Conor McGregor is set to face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
