Conor McGregor Says He Already Beat One Face Of Boxing, Now He’s Beating Another

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor briefly spoke to the media on Tuesday.

McGregor and his team appeared in front of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to promote his upcoming fight with Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

McGregor greeted the fans and media before answering a question on stage. The UFC champion was asked about his transition into the sport of boxing.

“I’ve been fighting my whole life. It’s just another day for me,” McGregor said. “Another day, another fight. I already whooped one of the faces of boxing, and now I’m going to whoop another on Aug. 26.”

McGregor was referring to the damage he did to former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi during their sparring sessions when he said he whooped one of the faces of boxing. After McGregor talked to the media, he got into a heated altercation with Malignaggi.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
