McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut against Mayweather. Despite having no boxing matches on his resume, McGregor is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport of MMA.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
