0-1 UFC Fighter Hints That He’s CM Punk’s Next Opponent

A UFC fighter with the same record as CM Punk has hinted at being Punk’s next opponent inside the Octagon.

On Tuesday, Mike Jackson posted a photo on his Instagram account of himself holding a WWE “Money in the Bank” brief case and directed it at CM Punk.

Recently, Punk’s coach, Duke Roufus, said the former WWE star was waiting on a confirmation for his next fight. With Jackson having the same record as Punk, Jackson may be the best option.

Punk left the world of professional wrestling and signed with the UFC back in 2014. In Sept. 2016, Punk finally made his MMA debut at UFC 203. On that night, Punk was submitted in the first round by Mickey Gall.

Prior to Punk’s UFC debut, Jackson fought Gall earlier that year to see who would fight Punk in his first MMA fight. Jackson was also submitted by Gall in the first round.

Hey, @cmpunk…
