PPV was very strong with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta.

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may  be suffering from a decline in pay per view purchases.

As offered by forums.sherdog.com, and supported with data from MMAPayout.com, the UFC has allegedly reached a decline in their PPV purchases.

For 2017, from the beginning of January to the end of September, the UFC has allegedly sold 2, 150,000 pay-per-views. The number would indicate the lowest in UFC PPV sales for the mixed martial arts promotion to date.

The second lowest PPV sales between January and October for the UFC was noted in 2014 with 2, 425, 000 total sales. Last year, the UFC boasted an impressive 5, 940,000 total pay-per-view sales.

The most recent UFC pay-per-view came out of Edmonton, Canada for UFC 215. In the night’s main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko faced off for the title.
