When it comes to the UFC men, the two opposite ends of the weight-class spectrum are flyweight at 125 pounds and heavyweight at 207-265 pounds.
The disparity in weight between men’s divisions is drastic.
Now, in what would usually come straight out of Japan’s Rizin, a freak show of epic proportions was teased less than 20-minutes from this writing.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic took to his twitter, announcing that he’s in Canada for tomorrow’s UFC 215 event and is ready to step in and fight in tomorrow main event.
If you’re jut checking into the MMA-U-verse this morning, late last night it was revealed that Saturday’s main event between Demetrious Johnson and Ray Borg has been cancelled thanks to the UFC doctors, who did not clear Borg for the title fight, due to illness.
A champion vs. champion bout would have most fight fans drooling at the mouth, but this is obviously just a joke from the Cleveland based champion.
Here’s how he addressed the situation:
Hey Edmonton! Since I'm here do you think I should fight my friend and GOAT @MightyMouseUFC on 1 days notice? Lol. What do you think?
