The UFC has released an exclusive Japanese poster for their upcoming Fight Night event in Japan.
On Sept. 23, the UFC will hold a Fight Night event at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event will be headlined by a rematch between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Ovince Saint Preux.
On Wednesday, Takanori Gomi, who will also be competing on the card, posted a picture of the official Japanese fight poster for the event on his Instagram. Gomi’s photo of the poster can be seen below.
Gomi, who is on a four-fight losing streak in the UFC, will fight Dong Hyun Kim in a lightweight fight at the event.
The UFC’s next show in Japan also features a pivotal fight in the women’s strawweight division. Former title challengers Claudia Gadelha and Jessica Andrade will fight in the co-main event.
UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Saint Preux 2 will take place Sept. 23 in Japan, but due to the time difference, the fight will air live in North America on Sept. 22.
