Artem Lobov Hints at Retirement Following Andre Fili Defeat

SBG Ireland member and training partner to Conor McGregor, Artem Lobov suffered a tough defeat today. Now on a two fight losing streak Lobov’s record has become a losing one, totaling 13-14.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made a trip to Gdansk, Poland for today’s UFC Fight Night 118. In the day’s upcoming main event, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will be taking on Darren Till. Also on the day’s card, “The Russian Hammer” faced off against Andre Fili.

Going the distance, Fili put on a dominant display over Lobov with a unanimous decision win. With four losses and two wins under his tenure with the UFC, it would appear that today’s loss may be getting to Artem Lobov.

Taking to Twitter, “The Russian Hammer” revealed that he is now considering his future in the world of mixed martial arts. Here is what the fighter had to say:

“Not sure what the future holds dont want to be retiring & coming back a thousand times. Will think about the futue & update. Thank u all.”
