Coach: ‘Demetrious Johnson Will Finish Ray Borg, Break Record, Make History Forever’

Current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson says at UFC 216 he'll finish Ray Borg, break the record, and make history

In this weekend’s UFC 216 co-main event UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will attempt to break Anderson Silva’s record by defending his world title an eleventh straight time.

All he has to do is defeat Ray Borg this weekend, and the record belongs to him.

As usual, the UFC has launched their pre-fight embedded series, and they just released episode 1.

In it, Johnson’s longtime head coach Matt Hume casts his prediction for fight night, stating that D.J. will finish Ray Borg to break Anderson Silva’s record and he’ll make history forever.

The usual silent Matt Hume is confident about his fighter’s chances, even stating that if they change opponents last-minute the result will be the same.

The video is below.
