Dana White Just Crowned Demetrious Johnson The Greatest Fighter Of All Time

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson made UFC history last night. Breaking Anderson Silva’s record, “Mighty Mouse” earned his 11th consecutive title defense in the night’s co-main event match up against Ray Borg. Now UFC President Dana White has come forward to give his opinion of Johnson’s new accomplishment.

In the post-fight press conference, Dana White pointed out just how enthused UFC commentating veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Joe Rogan was with Demetrious Johnson’s stunning aerial armbar finish over Ray Borg.

Here is what Dana White had to say:

“You guys know what a crazy jiu-jitsu guy Joe Rogan is. Rogan was up in the ring. He goes, ‘I’ve never even seen that in a jiu-jitsu match.’ He goes, ‘It’s crazy, this guy’s a freak.’ And, it’s true. Demetrious is the best. He broke Anderson Silva’s record and did it in spectacular fashion.”

When asked if he believes “Mighty Mouse” deserves a spot as the greatest of all time, Dana White added:

“Definitely. He’s the man. He broke Anderson Silva’s record, and it almost seems like in that last round he knew he was going to do it and he knew how he was going to do it. It was pretty impressive.Matt Hume, we were talking about how awesome it was and he goes, ‘He does it in the gym all the time.’ That’s like his move. He does that all the time. It’s crazy.”
