Fresh Off Cerrone Win, Darren Till Eyes “Wonderboy” Thompson Scrap

It would appear that Darren Till has put his sights on another top contender.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made a trip to Gdansk, Poland on Saturday for UFC Fight Night 118. In the day’s main event, welterweight contender Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone went toe-to-toe with Darren Till. Till upheld his undefeated streak by earning a dominant first round TKO win over “Cowboy.”

Following the fight, Till made a point to call out UFC knockout artist “Platinum” Mike Perry. Perry was cage side for the fighter’s main event performance at the time.

Perry quickly stormed the octagon after hearing the call out, before security were able to diffuse the situation. While Till certainly has Perry’s attention, the undefeated fighter is already setting his gaze to former title contender Stephen Thompson.

Going to Twitter, Darren Till stated “Just gonna put it out there, but imagine the chess game of striking me and wonderboy would have?”

Coming off of a title fight loss to reigning champion Tyron Woodley, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is now set to take on talented striker Jorge Masvidal at UFC 217. The event will be live on pay-per-view come Nov. 4 and will take place inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
