GSP Has Officially Arrived To UFC Fight Week In New York

Georges St. Pierre has not competed inside the octagon in nearly four years. After a successful title defense victory against Johny Hendricks in 2013, “Rush” decided to call an end to his mixed martial arts career. The fighter ended his career as the UFC welterweight champion while on a 12 fight winning streak, with only two losses on his professional record of 25-2.

Of course, St-Pierre has since decided to make an octagon return. This time, the fighter will be moving up in weight to challenge UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping for his title.

The two mixed martial arts veterans will throw down in the main event of UFC 217. The event will take place this Saturday, Nov. 4, inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York. It will also be aired live on pay-per-view.

Now, it would appear that Georges St-Pierre has officially made his way to New York for the UFC fight week heading up to his big return to the sport of MMA.

GUYS …… THIS IS NOT A DRILL. GSP IS BACK!!!! @GeorgesStPierre #UFC217
