Kelvin Gastelum Brings In An Old Foe To Help Him Prepare For Anderson Silva

UFC middleweight contender Kelvin Gastelum brings in Uriah Hall to help him prepare for his fight against former UFC legend Anderson SIlva.

Once opponents battling it out through the Ultimate fighter house, both Kelvin Gastelum and Uriah Hall would prove to stand-out above the rest, on their season of the UFC’s hit reality series.

Still fan favorites to this day, the two once fought in a highly-unlikley Ultimate Fighter Finale between the tournament favorite in Hall and the last picked fighter in Gastelum.

Of course as history showed us, the last picked Gastelum is now one of the UFC’s top welterweight and middleweight fighters fighting in the cage today. He seems always on the cusp of a title shot, and is rarely in a boring scrap.

The same with Uriah Hall. Despite losing to Gastelum, via split-decision, in their bout, Hall has risen to his own stardom as an always entertaining and flashy middleweight that fight fans love to tune in for.

Now the duo are working together to get Gastelum ready for his upcoming fight against Anderson silva.

Gastelum announced the news via his twitter on Wednesday.

Brought in a little help for my fight against Anderson Silva! Mr. uriahhall in the buildin!!

Having beaten both Gastelum and Hall, and Anderson Silva, respectively, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman chimed in on the announcement, offering some encouraging words to the young up-and-comer.

Weidman stated,

Kelvin Gastelum takes on Anderson Silva in the UFC Fight Night 122 event on November 25. The bout will air live and free on Fox Sports 1, from Shanghai China’s Mercedes Benz Arena.
