Las Vegas Resident Floyd Mayweather Breaks His Silence On Sunday’s Mass-Shooting Tragedy

Sunday Night Las Vegas got turned upside down.

An adult playground by all accounts, it’s called “Sin City” not because it’s a violent place. But, rather because it’s a place for adults to unwind, drink and party freely, gamble, dance, indulge and just have a blast.

Unfortunately, many people died and more than 500 were shot and wounded, on Sunday, when a mad mad opened fire on a music festival from the 32nd floor of The Mandalay Bay Hotel And Casino. This has changed the face of the Las Vegas strip forever, and it’s being called the worst mass-shooting in United States history.

A few days have passed since the tragedy took place, and just a few moment ago Floyd Mayweather took to his instagram to release his own statement.

Floyd is a longtime Las Vegas resident and supporter of the city.

Here’s what he said:

My love for the city of Las Vegas is unconditional!

I put this city on my back as my home and the place I hold dearest to my heart! My sincerest condolences goes out to the families affected by this senseless act; we will
stand together. #VegasStrong and united in our love for this great town.

Our thoughts go out to all those affected by Sunday’s tragic event.
