Michael Bisping Completely Changes His Mind, Says No Way He’s Retiring After GSP Fight

It would appear that Michael Bisping, in fact, does not plan to retire anytime soon.

“The Count” will be welcoming Georges St-Pierre to the middleweight division in the pay-per-view title fight main event of UFC 217. Bisping has previously mentioned that he has been considering retirement after his upcoming title defense. At today’s pre-fight press conference in Toronto, “The Count” revealed that he no longer has plans for retiring from the octagon.

Here is what Bisping had to say:

“Listen, a lot of people were asking me about that (retirement). I love this too much. I love this whole process, getting ready for a training camp. Eight weeks ago, I was out of shape. Now I feel like I’m the champion of the world. I can beat anyone on this planet, especially this guy. I love that whole process. So, no, I won’t be retiring.”

Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre will face off at UFC 217, which goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York and will be available on pay-per-view.
