Miesha Tate Not Giving Ferguson A Chance Against McGregor

Ever since Conor McGregor suffered a TKO loss in his career high payday performance against Floyd Mayweather Jr., fight fans have been frantically waiting to hear what is next for the UFC megastar. “Notorious” went to social media today to hint that newly crowned UFC interim champion Tony Ferguson is going to be his opponent inside the octagon. Fighters and fans are now offering their excited thoughts on the possible title unification fight, including former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.

In the wake of McGregor’s absence, the UFC held an interim lightweight title fight last weekend in the main event of UFC 216. Taking out Kevin Lee, Ferguson earned the championship belt. Ferguson immediately called out McGregor following his submission victory over Lee. Now it would appear that a title unification match up may actually be happening.

Offering her thoughts on the possible UFC return match for McGregor, Miesha Tate gave her reasoning as to why she isn’t going to doubt “Notorious” this time.
