Television Host Can’t Take Jose Aldo Power Shot, Even When Protected

Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is still on the hunt for UFC gold. Despite his stoppage loss to the champion Max “Blessed” Holloway at UFC 212, Aldo made no excuses and simply dusted himself off, continuing to train very hard.

“Be content to act, and leave the talking to others” – Baltasar Gracian

I only have to thank my ‘dad’ Andre Pederneiras, the best team in the world, Nova Uniao, because if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be the people’s champion, and (thank) all my trainers, who did a super well done job and got me ready, and all my fans who are always with me, here’s my love and my thank you.” Aldo said via social media. “I’m speechless with all the love I’ve received until today, and every word you send to me. Thank you.

The rest, fuck it, because I’ll come back, because we go down so we can get back up!! That’s it!! We’ll be back!!”

Following his loss at UFC 212, Aldo also made some big changes to his training and spent most of the summer training with boxing guru Robert Garcia.  In fact, Garcia will be cornering Aldo for his next UFC fight and also training him in his transition to the boxing ring.

What is certainly evident is that Aldo has some crazy knockout power in his hands, whether it’s MMA or boxing. After holding pads for him, Garcia said he hits as hard as “Chino” Maidana.

A lot of fighters have felt Aldo’s power and unfortunately for this television host, now he also knows first hand.
