UFC 216 Reebok Pay Report: Most Fighters Actually Make Decent Money This Round


The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday night for the highly anticipated event UFC 216. In the night’s main event, Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee faced off for the interim lightweight title. Ferguson earned a submission victory over Lee, crowning “El Cucuy” as the interim champion. With the fun night of fights now in the books, the UFC Athlete Outfitting payouts for UFC 216 have been revealed.

As part of the UFC’s uniform deal with sports apparel company Reebok, fighters are compensated for their octagon performances by the sports apparel business. This time around, it would appear that many of the night’s competitors went home with ample pay. The total earnings for UFC 216 Reebok payouts picked up to $242,500.
