Vannata Sent To Hospital Following Draw With Bobby Green

UFC lightweights Lando Vannata and Bobby Green went to war for 3 rounds at UFC 216, and the aftermath has Vannata paying the hospital a visit.

Another exciting night of fights is now in the books, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to Las Vegas, Nev. tonight for the highly anticipated UFC 216 event. UFC 216 hosted a trove of entertaining match ups. From bloody wars to highly technical battles, the UFC offered them all. One of the night’s most exciting fights took place between lightweights Lando Vannata and Bobby Green.

Vannata dropped Green early in the fight, capitalizing on the moment with a series of ground and pound. However, the fighter would go on to mistakenly land a point deducting illegal knee to Green’s head later in the fight. As a result, Vannata and Green’s all out war would go on to become a draw.

Lando Vannata took some serious damage during the fight, gaining multiple lacerations on his face from Green’s vicious striking. Now it would appear that Vannata has been taken to the hospital to have his new wounds tended to.

Taking to Instagram, Vannata stated:

In the Instagram post, Vannata can be seen riding in the back of an ambulance, being transported after his bloody war with a seriously tough UFC competitor.
