Alistair Overeem Is Doing The Diego Sanchez Chin Workout Ahead Of This Weekend’s Ngannou Fight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for UFC 218. The event goes down Saturday night, Dec. 2, inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will be facing off against Jose Aldo in a highly anticipated rematch. Holloway first unified his interim title with a TKO finish over “Scareface” at UFC 212. However, Aldo has returned to fight for the title once again.

There will be a heavyweight war in the night’s co-headliner, as tough contenders Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou are set to go toe-to-toe for division dominance. Ngannou has yet to be defeated inside the octagon, having not lost a fight since 2013. With the exciting night of fights only a week away, the UFC has provided episode one of the vlog series UFC 218 Embedded.

In the episode, Overeem can be seen taking a play out of teammate Diego Sanchez’s book. Leading up to UFC Fight Night 108, Sanchez decided to work on his chin with a somewhat unorthodox weight lifting routine.

Alistair Overeem can be seen giving the workout his all, as the fighter prepares for one of his toughest opponent’s yet.

Check it out.
