Alistair Overeem Just Released The Latest Episode Of “The Reem” Ahead Of This Weekend’s UFC 218 Event

Fight fans will be flocking to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s next big fight card. UFC 218 will be going down for the Detroit crowd, with a hoard of awesome match ups set for the octagon.

In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will be facing off against former champion Jose Aldo in a title fight rematch. While a belt is not on the line in the night’s co-headliner, there will be a heavyweight war for division supremacy as Alistair Overeem faces off against Francis Ngannou.

Overeem is on a two fight winning streak, having most recently earned a majority decision victory over former champion Fabricio Werdum. Ngannou, on the other hand, has yet to be defeated inside the octagon. The fighter is now riding a stunning nine fight winning streak as a professional mixed martial artist, with five of those wins having taken place inside the octagon.

With UFC 218 now only days away, Alistair Overeem has decided to release the latest episode of his YouTube documentary series The Reem. In this episode, Overeem travels to Japan to discuss his history as a competitor in Pride and his big win over MMA legend Vitor Belfort. The fighter also catches up with kickboxing phenom Gokhan Saki and visits Hiromitsu Kanehara in the hospital. Check out the episode in the video below:
