And Another One… First Hunt, Then Calderwood, Now UFC Sydney Loses Another

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is having to make some changes to the upcoming fight card in Sydney, Australia.

UFC Fight Night 121 goes down Nov. 18 inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia and was initially set to see UFC heavyweights Mark Hunt and Marcin Tybura go toe-to-toe. However, Hunt has since been pulled from the night’s event. Fabricio Werdum is now set to take on Tybura for the headliner.

The co-main event was initially set to see Australia’s own Bec Rawlings face off against Joanne Calderwood. However, Calderwood has since been pulled from the event. Rawlings will now be facing Jessy Rose-Clark.

Now it would appear that another fighter has been pulled from UFC Fight Night 121.

As reported by MMA Fighting, Humberto Bandenay will no longer be facing Alexander Volkanovski at the night’s event. Bandenay has suffered a fractured right wrist, forcing the fighter to be pulled from the card.
