Brunson Says Bisping Ducked Him And Said He Was Injured When Offered A Fight

Michael Bisping is coming off of a tough title ending loss to Georges St-Pierre from UFC 217. That in mind, “The Count” has already scored his next match up.

Anderson Silva has been pulled from his main event bout against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 122 due to a failed drug test. On only weeks notice, Bisping stepped up to take the fellow former champion’s place and is now set to face off against Gastelum. UFC Fight Night 122 goes down Nov. 25 in Shanghai, China.

That in mind, it would appear that Derek Brunson was also looking to take on “The Count” and was informed that the fighter was injured.

“l asked to fight you @bisping and heard you were injured. Either you’re wolverine and heal yourself or you live in a hyperbaric chamber…”
