Dana White Confirms GSP Did Not Attend Post Fight Media Because, ‘He was rushed to the hospital’

Last Saturday at UFC 217 from Madison Square Garden in New York, Georges “Rush” St-Pierre returned to action against Michael Bisping and captured the UFC middleweight championship.

GSP was able to rock and finish the champion in the third round after sinking in a rear naked choke and putting Bisping to sleep.

Immediately following the bout, GSP would skip the UFC’s post-fight press conference, in favor of the hospital.

UFC president Dana White revealed, “He was transported to the hospital. He’s got to get stitches in his nose. “Bisping did some serious work from his back, split (his) nose open, had blood all over his face. (Georges) took some big shots from the top position.”

And now, outside of just one Instagram tweet, we have still not heard from the UFC’s Canadian mega-star.
