Dustin Poirier Continues Pursuit Of UFC Title Fight Against Tony Ferguson

Tony Ferguson has had fighters lining up to face him ever since he choked out Kevin Lee for the UFC interim lightweight title. The interim champion recently vented over a Khabib Nurmagomedov over social media. Now another fighter has decided to step in and offer himself as an opponent instead.

Nurmagomedov and Ferguson were initially set to face off at UFC 209 for the interim title. However, “The Eagle” was pulled from the fight on last minute after being rushed to the hospital for weigh management issues. Taking to Twitter, Ferguson recently offered some heated words concerning the fighter.

“Listen Ya Fragile Fatass, The Last Time We Tried To Fight That Hat Of Yours Collected Cobwebs. How ‘Bout Ya Take A Number… Make Weight, Show Up & Shut Up. Who’s Irrelevant Now? -Thee MF’n Champ #SnapDownCityBitch SnapJitsu™#TeamTiramisu4L #Towel7 #JustSayNo”

Now Dustin Poirier has decided to offer his thoughts on Ferguson, reminding the interim UFC champion that he has yet to miss weight.

“I’ve never missed weight or pulled out of a fight in 36 fights! Promise you I’ll show up.” Poirier stated on his Twitter.
