Fabricio Werdum Explains His Side Of The Covington Street Fight

Colby Covington has been getting some heat from fighters and fight fans alike ever since he called Brazil a “dump” and Brazilians “filthy animals” during his post-fight interview at UFC Fight Night 119 from Sao Paulo.

Most recently, former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum entered a physical altercation with the fighter while the two were in Australia. Spotting each other on the street, Werdum can be seen in the video above striking Covington with a boomerang.

It has since been revealed that charges are being pressed against Werdum.

Fabricio Werdum is now set to headliner Saturday’s, Nov. 18, UFC Fight Night 121. The event will go down inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia and will see Werdum go toe-to-toe with Marcin Tybura.
