The Four UFC Fighters That Missed Weight Last Weekend, All Won Over Their Smaller Opponents

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made a trip to Sydney, Australia on Saturday night, Nov. 18, for UFC Fight Night 121. The event hosted a series of exciting fights, but also an unexpected number of missed weights at the weigh-ins. A total four fighters missed weight for UFC Fight Night 121, making for an unusual fight night. Still, each competitor squared off inside the octagon.

More surprisingly, it would appear that each competitor that missed weight also won on Saturday night. Bec Rawlings co-headlined the night’s card, making weight for her big flyweight debut. Jessica-Rose Clark, the fighter’s opponent, came to the weigh-ins overweight however. In the end, Clark earned a close decision victory over her opponent after a three round war. Ryan Benoit also came in heavy at UFC Fight Night 121, but the fighter put on a stunning knockout performance over Ashkan Mokhtarian. Welterweight Frank Camacho was five pounds heavier than his opponent, but earned a split decision victory over Damien Brown.

Finally, Nadia Kassem also came in five pounds heavy to the weigh-ins. The fighter went toe-to-toe with Alex Chambers, ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory over the fighter.

In a recent Twitter post, Alex Chambers revealed that her opponent was over 131 pounds on fight night.
