Georges St-Pierre rocked Madison Square Garden when he choked out Michael Bisping for the UFC middleweight title at UFC 217. The former welterweight champion has been away from the sport of mixed martial arts for nearly four years, having gone on a lengthy hiatus after defending his welterweight title from Johny Hendricks back in 2013.
Now it would appear that St-Pierre has launched his own watch. Taking to Instagram, the newly crowned middleweight champion revealed the news.
“I wanted to make something special to commemorate my career so I teamed up with Ilan from Egard Watch Co. to make a watch. Something people could take with them wherever they go. There are some amazing features on this piece that we spent a year designing. I couldn’t be happier with the result.”
St-Pierre’s limited edition watch Kickstarter can be found here. The fighter has blown past his goal of $45,000 with a total $113,000 having been funded to the Kickstarter.
