Joe Rogan’s Final Post-Fight Reaction To UFC 217 Sums Up Saturday Night, And Wins Today’s Internet

Without question UFC 217 will go down as one of, if not the the best UFC event of all time. The show was packed from top to bottom with name fighters who all delivered with some great action and wild finishes.

Even the undercard provided some memorable action including Firas Zahabi’s brother, Aiemann Zahabi, getting knocked out with a brutal spinning back elbow by Ricardo Ramos. UFC light heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux also made the highlight reel with his knockout of Corey Anderson, along with newcomer Paulo Costa who knocked out former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks.

However, the most memorable fights of the night were the triple main event title fights that all saw the defending champions fall.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk suffered her first career defeat and lost the UFC strawweight title when she was TKO’d by “Thug” Rose Namajunas in the first round in front of a stunned crowd in New York City. Then Cody Garbrandt would lose the bantamweight title to former teammate T.J. Dillashaw by second round TKO. But the streak would continue all the way through the main event as Georges St. Pierre returned from a four year absence to win the UFC middleweight title after choking Michael Bisping unconscious in the third round.

Needless to say that fans in the arena and around the world were in awe of the UFC 217 results.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan was no different than the rest of the shocked fans around the world which was evident by his cageside reaction to all of the action.
