Matt Brown Knocks Out Diego Sanchez Quick In Round 1, In Knock Out Of The Decade Candidate

Fight fans are gearing up for tonight’s UFC Fight Night 120 main event, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting the event in Norfolk, Virginia. Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will be going toe-to-toe with Dustin Poirier in the headliner, but the night’s co-main event is now kicking off. Matt Brown and Diego Sanchez are going into a war for tonight’s co-headliner.

Sanchez quickly scores a single leg on Brown, rushing the fighter against the fence. Brown managed to end off the takedown attempt, throwing knees to the head of Sanchez in the process.

Back in the center of the octagon, Brown stuck Sanchez with a series of jabs. Sanchez swiftly latched onto Brown for another single leg takedown attempt. However, Brown resisted the takedown and slipped out of Sanchez’s grasp.

Brown began sticking his opponent with leg kicks, pressuring Sanchez against the fence. Then, Sanchez landed a damaging liver shot to his opponent, putting Brown on his back foot.

Brown slammed his opponent to the ground, putting Sanchez out for the fight.
