The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted a highly entertaining night of fights on Saturday, Nov. 11, in front of the Norfolk, Virginia crowd. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion offered UFC Fight Night 120.

The headliner for the Virginia crowd featured a lightweight match up between former champion Anthony Pettis and Dustin Poirier. The two contenders battled it out for division dominance in a bloody war, but Poirier was ultimately able to earn a TKO victory over the former champion.

As part of the UFC’s outfitting deal with sports apparel company Reebok, fighters are compensated for their total number of octagon performances with outfitting payouts. This time around, Poirier and Pettis each pulled together series sums for their main event match up. Poirier went home with $20,000, a Pettis garnered a total $15,000.
