Two Fighters Pull Out Of Next Week’s UFC Card, And Two Fighters Step Up On Short Notice To Replace Them

And the hits just keep on coming to next week’s UFC on FOX 26 card, as two fighters just pulled out, only to have two new men step up and fight on short notice to replace them.

UFC on Fox: Lawler vs. dos Anjos (also known as UFC on Fox 26) is set to go down on December 16, 2017, at the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The night’s main card will air live and free on FOX. The evening’s preliminary card will air on a mix of UFC fight pass and Fox Sports 1.

Like most UFC cards these days, the event has been plagued with injuries and cancellations, all the way up to the final hour, and this one is no different. Luckily though, the night’s main event between two former champions in Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos is still locked in.

The night’s card features Ricardo Lamas vs. last minute replacement Josh Emmett in the co-main event, and the return of notables the likes of Glover Teixeria and “Platinum” Mike Perry.

The latest in shifts to the card were both announced on Instagram, as Danny Roberts now takes on Nordine Taleb, and Darren Stewart takes on Julian Marquez.
