Title Challengers Return, As UFC Announces Multiple Fights For First Quarter 2018 — Get Caught Up

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another great year of mixed martial arts events. Now the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion has rounded up a score of exciting match ups on it’s UFC schedule on some fight cards for the first quarter of next year.

It was recently revealed over social media by the official UFC Europe Twitter account that former UFC heavyweight title challenger Mark Hunt will now be taking on Curtis Blaydes at UFC 221. The event will take place inside the Perth Arena in Perth, Western Australia on February 10, 2018. Of course, Hunt is not the only former title challenger to be going on a warpath early next year.

Former UFC bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko is now set to make her debut in the UFC’s new flyweight division. For the fight, Shevchenko will be going toe-to-toe with Priscila Cachoeira at UFC Fight Night 125. The two will face off for division dominance on February 3, 2018 inside Belem, Brazil.

Also set to fight on the Belem card, TUF 26 cast member Maia Stevenson will be taking on UFC newcomer Polyana Viana in the strawweight class at UFC Fight Night 125.

UFC on FOX 27 has also locked in two new match ups, as four female fighters have been added to the quickly growing fight card. Katlyn Chookagian will now face off against Mara Romero Borella in the flyweight division. Also set to face off in the flyweight class, Justine Kish and Ji Yeon Kim will battle it out for the Charlotte crowd.

The event will take place January 27, 2018 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Stay tuned for more updates to the already stacked UFC schedule.
