Davi Ramos Chokes Out Opponent in Fresno | UFC Results

Fight fans are pouring into the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. tonight, Dec. 9, for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest big MMA event. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC Fight Nigh 123 for the Fresno crowd. With the night of fights now under way, the time has come to take a look at the UFC results for the exciting event.

Chris Gruetzemacher and Davi Ramos entered a war on the UFC Fight Pass prelims inside the Save Mart Center.

In the first round, Gruetzemachertook some big overhand rights from Ramos. But, Gruetzemachertook continued to walk forward and apply the pressure on his opponent. Ramos caught a kick from his opponent and took Gruetzemachertook to the ground. Gruetzemachertook managed to pull Ramos into half-guard, but suffered some serious ground and pound from the fighter in the process. With the sound of the bell, Ramos managed to control much of the second half of the round.

Ramos opened the second round with a bang, sticking Gruetzemacher with powerful punches. Eventually finding himself once again on the canvas with Gruetzemacher, but the referee was quick to stand the fighters up once again.

Halfway through the round, Ramos appeared to be slowing down as Gruetzemacher began to pick up his pace. Gruetzemacher continued to pummel his opponent throughout the final minutes of the round, but suffered a takedown in the last seconds from Ramos. Gruetzemacher seemed to really turn the tide on Ramos with some serious striking.

The final round kicked off at a furious pace, as the two fighters went to war for the last five minutes. However, Ramos wasted no time getting his opponent to the canvas. Getting Gruetzemacher’s back, Ramos managed to sink in a rear-naked choke and finish off his opponent.
