A recent audit has revealed that UFC superstar Conor McGregor has well over a million purchased followers on Twitter. While “Notorious” is certainly a UFC star, it would appear that the lightweight champion may have less of a social media presence than originally believed.
Conor McGregor has taken over the world of mixed martial arts. The fighter made UFC history when he took out Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title, making “Notorious” the first and only UFC champion to ever simultaneously hold multiple titles.
Through his storied career, McGregor has gained the fandom of a nation. Fans pour in by the thousands to see the Irish MMA fighter compete inside the octagon. Over Twitter, McGregor has obtained over 4 million followers, with a mass of followers on Instagram to boot.
However, as per Twitter Audit, nearly two million of McGregor’s followers on Twitter have been deemed fake.
