Breaking: Dana White Confirms: ‘The winner of Khabib vs. Ferguson IS THE CHAMPION’

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Boston, Massachusetts tonight for the UFC 25th Anniversary Series Press Conference. During the conference, the mixed martial arts promotion made some breaking news.

During the conference, the UFC announced that UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has not been stripped of his title. Interim champion Tony Ferguson and top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov are now officially set to face off in the UFC 223 main event.

The event goes down April 2 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.

The first question at today’s press conference, was if Conor McGregor was stripped.

UFC president Dana White said, ” I have no update on Conor McGregor.”

“I will say this, the winner of this fight is the champion.”

The UFC boss was then asked if that means Conor McGregor was stripped, and the Dana simply said, “We’ll see.”
