UFC’s Donald Cerrone has earned a reputation for being a fighter that is always down to compete. Injured or taken on short notice, “Cowboy” is ready to walk into the octagon to throw down for fight fans worldwide. Now UFC president Dana White has decided to reveal a private text conversation to prove that “Cowboy” is always down.
Cerrone was recently set to face off against former UFC champion Robbie Lawler. However, the former title holder was later removed from the card and “Cowboy” was left without a fight. Shortly after hearing the news, Cerrone decided to try his best to get a spot on the card for UFC 203. The fight night was only hours away, but CB Dolloway had been removed from his fight against Francimar Barroso on short notice due to an unexpected injury.
Donald Cerrone texted Dana White in an attempt to get on the incipient fight card. While “Cowboy” was not able to land the spot, White instead decided to reveal the text conversation to the world and praised the welterweight competitor.
Over Instagram, White stated:
“Who is better, crazier or more BAD ASS then @cowboycerrone ?????! #asrealasitgets”
