Current WWE Superstar Offers To Fight CM Punk In The UFC

It would appear that a WWE superstar is now interested in facing Phil Brooks inside the octagon.

Phil Brooks, better known by his WWE moniker “CM Punk,” made his octagon debut back in 2016. The fighter faced off against Mickey Gall, suffering a rough first round submission loss to his opponent. Since the tough defeat, Brooks has yet to make another UFC appearance.

Former WWE champion, CM Punk.

Speaking to The Associated Press, UFC President Dana White revealed that he is willing to give Brooks another shot inside the octagon.

“I like that guy. He’s a good dude,” White said. “He wants one more. He wants to get another shot. I’m going to give it to him.”

The UFC president then revealed that an opponent or date for Brook’s return has yet to be determined.

CM Punk next fight might just be at the top of the card as the UFC is looking to book the former WWE champion as co-main event.

Former mixed martial artist and current WWE superstar Jack Gallagher has since taken to social media to react to the news. Over Twitter, the professional wrestler revealed that he is interested in facing off against the former WWE superstar inside the octagon.

“Doesn’t have an opponent.” Gallagher said. “I have two minutes to spare.”
