Dana White Promises Better Pay For Boxers When He Starts Promoting The Sport

The Ultimate Fighting Chamionship (UFC) has earned the moniker of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion over the years. With that in mind, UFC President Dana White has previously claimed that he is interested in adding boxing matches to the promotion’s repertoire.

Now it would appear that White is willing to up the ante on the promotion’s potential future in the boxing world.

As reported by Jed I. Goodman over social media, Dana White has revealed that he’s confident he can create a system that provides great pay for boxer’s that compete under the UFC banner. Beyond that, the UFC president believes that any superstars of the sport that compete for the UFC will be able to “make the big money.”

Since the UFC’s uniform deal with sport’s apparel company Reebok, fighters under the promotion have been forced to forgo their in-octagon sponsorship opportunities for those offered by Reebok. However, many fighters have been seeing lower totals for their sponsorship since the making of the uniform deal. How the UFC plans to increase fighter pay for potential boxing competitors is yet to be known.
