Joe Rogan Has A Plan To Protect Jon Jones From Future Problems … And It’s A Good One

Longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has devised a plan for former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

Jon Jones is a mixed martial arts phenom. The fighter is still often considered one of the greatest of all time to many fans of the sport. With that in mind, “Bones” Jones has had a few hiccups in his career.

The fighter has been stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title on three separate occasions. Back in 2015, Jones was stripped of the belt after being involved in a hit-and-run incident.

The fighter was then set to make his UFC return in a fight against now reigning champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 200. However, Jones was pulled from the match up after failing a drug test. The fighter suffered a one year suspension and was stripped of his interim title for the incident.

Jones would then go on to face Daniel Cormier in his octagon return in 2017 at UFC 214. Jones knocked out Cormier for the light heavyweight belt, but the fight was later overturned to a no contest. Jones failed yet another drug test. As a result, the fighter was stripped of his title and Cormier was reinstated as champion.

Back in 2015, Jones also failed an out-of-competition drug test for a primary metabolite found in cocaine. However, the substance was not banned out-of-competition by the World Anti-Doping Agency at the time. Jones was tested again a week later and passed. The fighter was fined by the UFC for violating the UFC’s Athlete Code of Conduct policy.

Speaking on Jones’ storied career of ups and downs, Joe Rogan offered a few words on his podcast Joe Rogan Experience.

“He’s crazy.” Rogan said. “Jon’s crazy. Jon needs a babysitter. Jon is the baddest motherf**ker at 205 (pounds) ever. He just needs a babysitter.”
