McGregor’s Candid Thoughts On Diaz Loss Revealed, And He’s Brutally Honest With Himself

UFC superstar Conor McGregor shocked the world when he earned a vicious knockout over Jose Aldo for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s featherweight title.

However, “Notorious” faced a shocking loss of his own when he went toe-to-toe with the always dangerous Nate Diaz at UFC 196. Now footage of Conor McGregor offering his thoughts on the loss directly after the fight has made its way onto the internet.

Diaz and McGregor first faced off at UFC 196 back in 2016. Diaz, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, choked out “Notorious” in the second round of the their octagon war. As seen in the video above, McGregor offered his immediate thoughts on the tough loss right from the locker room.

Here is what Conor McGregor had to say:

“I don’t know. I was hitting… I was slipping and banging that left hand. A load of times, he came short as well. One stage, I caught him with a clean uppercut and he just was always there in me face. Pus**ed out, I did. Pus**ed out.”

“Notorious” would go on to earn a close decision victory over Diaz in their rematch, leaving many fans anxious for a trilogy rematch between the two mixed martial arts warriors.
