Fight fans flooded into the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday night, Jan. 20, for an intense night of fights. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the highly anticipated fight card for UFC 220 inside the arena, offering fans worldwide a live pay-per-view event.

In the night’s main event, UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic went toe-to-toe with rising knockout artist Francis Ngannou. Ngannou earned a shot at the title with a brutal knockout victory over former top contender Alistair Overeem. That being said, things did not go the gifted fighter’s way.

Miocic and Ngannou faced off for the Boston crowd, with the fight ultimately going the distance. After five intense rounds, Miocic locked in a unanimous decision victory over his opponent.
